Larry Digioia Senior Vice President, Investments

Larry Digioia

IN LOVING MEMORY OF Lawrence “LARRY” DiGioia, JR.

Larry would want to be remembered by the way he loved life. Sadly, he passed away on April 21, 2023, in Punta Mita, Nayarit, Mexico at the Raymond James Presidents Club trip.

Larry was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, godfather, co-worker, and friend. He touched many people from all over the world and will be greatly missed. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Larry lived with his wife of 35 years, Charmaine, in Sherman Oaks, California. He attended Brooklyn schools and obtained his bachelor’s degree from Pace University in New York city. He was a huge New York Giants fan.

Larry lived and worked by two principles – to always put the client’s interests first and to be honorable in all his business endeavors. These rules guided his career for more than three decades, enabling him to earn the trust and respect of his clients, team members, and to develop and implement custom financial strategies.

He was as Senior Vice President of Investments at the Global Wealth Solutions Group of Raymond James in Beverly Hills and longtime partner of Lisa Detanna, Managing Director. Before joining Raymond James, Larry was co-founder of The Wilshire Group at Citi Family Office, a team servicing ultra-high-net worth individuals and their families. He began his career in 1987 as an investment advisor at Lehman Brothers and would go on to work for Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management and Merrill Lynch Private Bank.

Larry was a fine wine and sports car enthusiast. He was passionate about the biotech industry and finding a cure for cancer and dedicated his time to Moffitt Cancer Research. His quiet generosity towards people and charities was well known throughout California and Florida. He was also part of the leadership team at Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation (“FEHSF”).

Nothing can take away the love his long-time partner, team and many friends, family and clients holds dear. Rest in peace our friend.
